RE-ASSESSMENT OF LOCAL GOVT CASH TRANSFER TEAMS

In order to improve on service delivery to programme beneficiaries as well as adding value to HUP, the Coordinator, National Cash Transfer Office Abuja, Dr. Tope Sinkaiye, approved the reassessment of Local Government Cash Transfer teams. This was in tune with
the proposal made by the NCTO MIS at the NCTO/SCTU end of year review meeting held in Kaduna from 8th to 11th March 2018. The re-assessment exercise commenced on 12th March and terminated on 22nd March 2018.
The exercise was carried out in Benue State accordingly. A team from the SCTU visited the nine benefitting Local Government Areas on the first phase where a total number of 124 officers comprising of Desk Officers, Grievance Redress Officers and Cash Transfer Facilitators were assessed on basic computer skills and ICT. With the exercise concluded, we are poised to deliver optimally on the Household Uplifting Programme.
